Position Summary / Career Interest:

The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Anesthesiology, is seeking a full-time faculty anesthesiologist to join our dynamic and rapidly expanding team. Our department includes anesthesiologists, resident physicians, and CRNAs who work collaboratively to provide exceptional patient care while fulfilling important teaching and academic responsibilities within a diverse, high-volume clinical practice.

Candidates must be ABA-certified or eligible and hold (or be eligible for) medical licensure in Kansas and Missouri. We offer a highly competitive compensation and benefits package, along with outstanding opportunities for career development and professional growth.

Position Highlights:

  • Broad case mix, including high-acuity trauma, regional anesthesia, endoscopy, orthopedics, vascular, obstetrics, pediatrics, and NORA
  • Preferred expertise: regional blocks and epidurals
  • Balanced practice with both medical direction and solo cases
  • Call responsibilities: approximately 15 per year with CRNA support overnight
  • Post-call day off provided
