Job summary

MedCap Health in Maine is seeking a Physician with Acute care experience to lead a skilled team in an Inpatient rehabilitation hospital. This contracted, full-time role offers hospital-level care leadership and meaningful patient impact.

You’ll work a daytime schedule with some weekend coverage, enjoy flexible hours, and receive comprehensive support including malpractice coverage, credentialing help, and telemedicine backup.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible in internal medicine, family practice, or geriatrics.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Experienced in acute care.

Responsibilities

• Lead a talented team of specialists in delivering hospital-level care in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital.
• Oversee nursing staff and support staff to ensure quality medical care and patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to manage complex cases and coordinate care.
• Provide day-to-day leadership with a flexible schedule to meet patient needs.

YOUR SCHEDULE

Our Physicians work during the day, Monday through Friday with some weekends as needed. We can work together to build a consistent schedule that fits your needs and availability.

You’ll work in an Inpatient rehabilitation hospital, overseeing your team in providing quality medical care and assisting with more complex cases.
