Job summary

ONE Health Ohio is seeking a Family Practice Physician to deliver high quality care for patients of all ages in a team-based setting within Ohio. The ideal clinician communicates well and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team.

The position includes a $10,000 signing bonus, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional growth. Ohio licensed physicians with DEA and residency are encouraged to apply; BLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice medicine in Ohio with good standing.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Current DEA certificate.
• Completion of accredited residency program.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses and conditions.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, preventive care, and safety, ensuring adherence to HIPAA and other regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with a team including nurse practitioners, physician assistants and other healthcare providers.
• Collaborate/supervise and mentor mid-level providers and students as needed.
• Support collaborative, multidisciplinary care with clinicians, behavior health providers and other team members.
• Provide patient education on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of conditions.
• Provide ongoing follow-up, continuity care and chronic disease management.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR record system.
