Job summary

CHKD Health System seeks a dedicated pediatrician to join our CMG and provide outpatient pediatric care across our network of practices in southeastern Virginia. You will diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, work closely with families, and participate in rotating on-call duties to ensure access to high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate pediatric care in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions in children.
• Build strong connections with patients and families, fostering a supportive environment.
• Participate in rotating on-call duties as needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including subspecialists, nursing staff, and on-call triage.
• Ensure patient care is aligned with best practices and medical guidelines.
• Engage in continuing medical education and professional development.

With CHKD Medical Group (CMG), you’ll join more than 120 CHKD board-certified pediatricians and nurse practitioners in 19 primary care practices with 27 locations throughout southeastern Virginia and northeastern North Carolina.
