Job summary

Rainy Lake Medical Center in Minnesota seeks a licensed physician to join our Rural Health Clinic. You will provide comprehensive clinical care to our community and work with a collaborative team to improve health outcomes.

The position requires MD/DO, Minnesota license, BLS, NPI, and DEA authority. ACLS is preferred. This exempt role offers a competitive salary range and benefits package including 401(k), life and disability coverage.

Qualifications

• Current Minnesota Board Certified license (MD or DO)
• BLS certification
• Valid NPI number and DEA license to prescribe all levels
• Medical degree and completion of USMLE examinations

Job Summary: Physician duly licensed to practice medicine in Minnesota whose principal duties are to provide professional medical services in the Clinic department as indicated, through assessment, and improvement of the individual and collective health status of individuals in the communities served. The physician will carry out the mission of Rainy Lake Medical Center by providing comprehensive clinical care in collaboration with other staff to our patients. The scope of practice of each physician is defined through the Practices’ credentialing and privileging committee.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current Minnesota Board Certified license (MD or DO)
• BLS
• Valid NPI number, Current DEA with authority to prescribe all levels
• Degree in Medicine and completed U.S. Medical Licensing Examination

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of practice as a licensed physician
• ACLS
