Job summary

Global Neuro & Spine Institute in Fort Pierce, FL is seeking an Interventional Pain Physician for a full-time, outpatient practice with a Monday–Friday schedule and minimal to no call. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with spine and neurological conditions using evidence-based, minimally invasive techniques, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Base compensation is $500,000 with productivity incentives and potential first-year earnings of $700,000+.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Medicine, Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Neurology, or a related specialty.
  • Active Florida medical license (or ability to obtain).
  • Active DEA registration.
  • BLS/ACLS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients with acute and chronic pain.
  • Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Perform interventional pain procedures within credentialed scope.
  • Prescribe medications responsibly and in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and multidisciplinary care teams.
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and long-term wellness.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer collaboration.
  • Foster a compassionate, patient-first culture focused on exceptional outcomes.

Position Summary

As an Interventional Pain Physician, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic pain, spine, and neurological conditions using comprehensive, evidence-based, and minimally invasive treatment approaches. You'll work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team committed to delivering outstanding patient care while helping patients restore function and improve their quality of life.

What You'll Do
  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, histories, and physical examinations
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pain, spine, and neurological conditions
  • Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
  • Perform interventional pain procedures within your credentialed scope
  • Prescribe medications responsibly and in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and multidisciplinary care teams
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and long-term wellness

Interventional Procedures

Physicians are expected to perform a broad range of advanced pain management procedures, including:

  • Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar epidural steroid injections
  • Caudal epidural injections
  • Transforaminal epidural injections
  • Facet joint injections
  • Medial branch blocks
  • Sacroiliac joint injections
  • Small and large joint injections
  • Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar radiofrequency ablations (RFA)
  • Spinal Cord Stimulator (SCS) trials and permanent implants
  • Dorsal Root Ganglion (DRG) stimulation
  • Intrathecal pain pump trials and implants
  • Minimally Invasive Sacroiliac Joint Fusion
  • Minimally Invasive Lumbar Decompression (MILD)
  • Basivertebral Nerve Ablation (OptaBlate)
Schedule

Required Qualifications

Travel

Travel between Jensen Beach, Fort Pierce, and Palm Bay clinics is required.

Requirements
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification or eligibility in neurology, pain management, or related specialty.
  • Valid medical license to practice in the relevant state or region.
  • Proven experience in managing spine, pain, and neurological conditions.
