Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking MDs or DOs to join as mobile wound care physicians working as independent contractors in nursing facilities. You will deliver hands-on wound care, retain clinical autonomy, and manage patient outcomes with support from our team.

As a 1099 provider, you enjoy true flexibility, no overhead, and a clear focus on medicine. Training and bonuses are provided, with compensation described as per-visit and performance-based bonuses.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Active, clear, and unrestricted Texas medical license.
• Active and unrestricted DEA license.
• Residency completion and board certification/eligibility not required to thrive in this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on wound care to geriatric patients in nursing facilities.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.

• Note: You do not need to have completed a full residency program and do not need to be Board Certified/Eligible to thrive in this role.
