Qualifications

• Emergency Medicine Physician role requires excellent bedside manner.

Responsibilities

• Work at least 12 required shifts per month, each 12 hours long.
• Provide emergency and urgent care in the same facility.
• Collaborate with APRNs to triage urgent care patients.

Incoming candidate can expect:

• 1099
• Base rate + hourly incentive + quarterly bonus pool
• Excellent bedside manner required
• Goal—work at least 12 required shifts/month (12 hour)
• 6, 24 hr shifts
• ER + urgent care in the same facility
• APRN’s triage urgent care patients
• Typically have 4-5 physicians per site
• 24 hour shift—can expect to see 40-50 patients/day (observations + critical care)
• Moderate to moderate high acuity
• Run very few codes
• Births are rare
• Heavy trauma is rare—tertiary hospital available
