Job summary

ProSport Physical Therapy & Performance, a member of Therapy Partners Group, is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Technician at our Long Beach, CA location. Training will be conducted at the Huntington Beach clinic. Schedule: Mon–Fri, 7:00am–4:00pm or 8:00am–5:00pm.

The position supports therapists by preparing treatment rooms, assisting patients, performing front-desk tasks, collecting co-pays, scheduling, and maintaining a clean, efficient outpatient environment.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office. Raintree PMS experience is a +
• Possess strong customer service skills
• Ability to maintain confidential documents
• Must be organized and able to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly, in writing and orally
• Must be able to identify and problem solve
• Strong team player attributes

Responsibilities

• Prepares treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
• Prepares patients for physical therapy treatment by welcoming and assisting into apparel.
• Maintains cleaning and linen supplies.
• Records daily notes under supervision.
• Provides information to patients by answering questions and requests.
• Assists with scheduling appointments and front-desk duties as needed.
• Collects co-pays/deductibles prior to patient being seen per policy.
• Ensures safe operation of equipment and maintains inventory of supplies.
• Maintains confidentiality and professional patient interactions.
