Point Performance in Bethesda, MD seeks a Physical Therapy Technician to support busy PTs in a small practice. You will manage PT supplies, assist on the gym floor, and communicate with patients under therapist direction.

The ideal candidate has a health-related bachelor’s degree (or pursuing PT school), CPR certification, and excellent communication. Strong reliability, teamwork, and willingness to multi-task are essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or health-related field required or actively pursuing
• CPR certification required
• Excellent written and verbal communication with patients is a must
• Strong reliability, flexibility, energy, and team orientation are essential
• Prior PT technician experience is a plus; EMR and Microsoft Office skills are advantageous

Responsabilités

• Maintain PT supply inventory and stock/organize on gym floor
• Disinfect and clean all equipment after each patient
• Ensure equipment is in good working order and report faults
• Support patient check-in/check-out and light admin tasks
• Support PTs by guiding patients through exercises and ensuring safety
• Record treatment notes, stretches, and equipment used
• Observe patient responses and communicate progress to therapists
• Coordinate with staff to plan and modify treatment as needed
• Contribute to overall cleanliness of treatment areas and common spaces
• Assist with laundry and page patient flow on clinic floor
