Job Title: Physical Therapy Technician

Overview:

The Technician is an unlicensed associate working under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical or Occupational Therapist. Responsibilities include assisting in patient care, preparing treatment areas, and performing administrative tasks in accordance with state laws and company policies.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing equipment and treatment areas for patient use.
• Assisting and observing patients during therapy exercises and documenting responses.
• Performing basic treatments such as applying ice and heat as instructed.
• Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and therapy areas, and laundering linens.
• Assisting with administrative tasks like patient intake, scheduling, and answering calls.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Proficiency in computer use and learning new software.
