Job summary

Peak Performance Physical Therapy in Michigan is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Technician to assist patients with therapeutic exercises under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You will help prepare treatment areas, maintain a clean clinic, and support front office tasks.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and an eagerness to learn in a fast-paced outpatient setting. CPR knowledge is preferred, and prior healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or Personal Training is preferred but not required.
• Previous healthcare experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week), including opening and closing shifts Monday through Friday.
• CPR knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Prepare treatment areas and ensure equipment is clean, organized, and ready for patient care.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming clinic environment.
• Support front office operations, including greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate patient information as needed.
• Observe patient progress and communicate concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Help create an exceptional patient experience while supporting efficient clinic operations.
• Follow all company policies, HIPAA requirements, and safety standards.
