Job summary

Advanced Physical Therapy in the Metro Detroit area seeks a motivated Physical Therapy Technician to support licensed therapists in an outpatient orthopedic clinic. You will help with patient care, prepare treatment areas, and ensure smooth daily operations.

You will greet patients, assist with treatment plans, administer hot and cold packs, monitor exercises, manage equipment, answer phones, and handle scheduling and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in a medical or physical therapy setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and assist therapists with patient care.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide outstanding customer service.
• Assist physical therapists with patient care and treatment plans.
• Administer hot and cold packs and monitor therapeutic exercises.
• Maintain therapy equipment and ensure a clean, safe clinic environment.
• Coordinate care for each patient from initial evaluation to discharge.
• Answer phones and manage electronic scheduling.
• Handle administrative tasks, including faxing, filing, and other duties as assigned.
