Job summary

The CORE Institute is hiring a PT aide to assist the Physical Therapist with patient care and the plan of treatment in a clinical setting in Phoenix, AZ. You will help maintain equipment, safety, and a clean environment while supporting front office tasks and daily clinic flow.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, and one year of outpatient PT clinic experience is preferred. Knowledge of OSHA and infection control is expected, with strong communication and confidentiality skills.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge preferred.
  • Graduation from a technical program is preferred.
  • One year of experience in an out-patient physical therapy clinic is preferred.
  • Knowledge of how to use and maintain physical therapy equipment.
  • Knowledge of department policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and infection control regulations.
  • Skill in using all equipment effectively.
  • Skill complying with OSHA and infection control policies
  • Skill in assisting the Physical Therapist with patients.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with providers, patients, and family members.
  • Ability to use effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Manual dexterity using a calculator and computer keyboard.
