BenchMark Physical Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapy Technician to join our team in Springfield, OR. This unlicensed position works under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical or Occupational Therapist to support patient care and clinic operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Organizational detail and ability to multitask.
• Proficient in the use of computers and learning new software programs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment and treatment areas for patient use.
• Assist and/or observe patients perform prescribed therapy exercises and document responses.
• Perform basic prescribed treatments such as applying ice packs and heat pads as instructed.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and therapy areas, and change and launder linens.
• Perform administrative tasks, including patient intake, answering phone calls and scheduling appointments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
