Job summary

BenchMark Physical Therapy in Pinehurst, NC is seeking a Physical Therapy Technician to join our team. This unlicensed assistant works under the supervision of a licensed Physical or Occupational Therapist and supports patient care in a service-based culture.

Responsibilities include preparing equipment and treatment areas, assisting patients with prescribed exercises, applying ice or heat, sanitation, and handling patient intake and scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask are important.
• Proficiency with computers and willingness to learn new software programs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment and treatment areas for patient use.
• Assist and/or observe patients performing prescribed therapy exercises and document responses.
• Apply ice packs and heat pads as instructed.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and therapy areas; manage linens.
