Job summary

Spire Orthopedic Partners is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Technician to join our outpatient clinic in Wilton, CT. You will assist the physical therapy team in patient care, help prepare treatment areas and modalities, and ensure a clean and organized workspace.

The role requires a high school diploma and strong communication skills. Experience in outpatient PT or personal training is preferred, with opportunities for growth within our expanding network of practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year experience in an outpatient physical therapy clinic or personal training environment preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to treatment areas and observe during treatments.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises under the direction of the physical therapist.
• Prepare treatment areas and modalities as supervised by the therapist.
• Keep equipment and treatment areas clean and disinfected.
• Maintain supply inventory and assist with orientation/training of new technicians.
• Adhere to HIPAA/OSHA regulations and safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
