Responsibilities

Summary: The Physical Therapy Technician plays a vital role in supporting patient recovery and well-being, ensuring they receive quality care and encouragement.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in providing high-quality treatment, welcoming and comforting patients
• Display excellent customer service and encouragement
• Follow the therapist’s plan of care
• Support therapists with non-clinical tasks to facilitate patient success
• Educate patients on equipment safety and usage
• Assist with light exercises and therapeutic modalities
• Help patients with walking and ensure safety
• Maintain effective communication with patients, staff, and physicians
• Keep treatment areas clean and sanitized
• Comply with all regulations and procedures
• Observe and record patient progress

Other Tasks

The technician reports to the clinic director and performs additional tasks as assigned.
