Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Technician in Frisco, TX to support therapists and frontline care teams. You will apply certified skills or on-the-job training to assist with therapy sessions and maintain a clean, efficient clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Must have PCYT certification or on-the-job training; six months experience in patient care.
• Current CPR certification recommended.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with patients and physicians.
• Must have strong organizational skills and ability to accurately document information for billing.
• Computer experience in Windows, spreadsheets, and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Assist PT with daily patient therapy under supervision.
• Maintain linen supply and organize equipment.
• Ensure clean and safe facility and report repairs.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families.
• Monitor inventory and report reorder needs.
• Assist with clinical business office tasks as needed.

• Must have Patient Care Technician certification or on the job training; minimum six months experience in patient care or completion of PCYT or CAN

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Assist P.T. with daily patient therapy treatment utilizing skills which have been certified or trained by the P.T. and are not considered P.T. skilled activities as defined by the state licensing
