Job summary

Therapy Partners of North Texas is seeking a part-time/PRN physical therapist technician in Plano to support licensed therapists. You will help with patient transport, setup of modalities, exercise assistance, and maintaining clean treatment areas, while also assisting with phones and scheduling.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong customer service, and a caring, energetic approach to help patients stay active and achieve their goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in a medical environment preferred.
• Reliable commute or relocation plans.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead patients from lobby to treatment area.
• Set up patients on heat, bike, or other modalities.
• Assist patients with exercises and movements.
• Clean tables after each patient use.

Job Description

Therapy Partners of North Texasis looking for a part-time/PRN physical therapist technician. This is a fun and dynamic position, ideal for someone looking to go to a graduate program in physical therapy. If you love exercise and working with people, this position is for you. You will assist the physical therapists by:

• Bringing patients from the lobby to the treatment area upon arrival
• Set patients up on heat/bike/whatever modality they typically start with
• Helping patient with exercises
• Cleaning tables after each patient use
• Providing feedback and guidance
• Helping with answering phones and scheduling patients

Schedule:

• Flexible to accommodate school schedules
• Monday to Friday

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience in a medical environment, ideally in a physical or occupational therapy department, is preferred
• Reliable commute or planning to relocate before starting work
• Team player attitude and energetic with a focus on excellent customer service
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Caring nature, with a genuine interest in helping people
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
