LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, VA, is seeking a PRN Rehab Technician to support therapy services under licensed therapists. You will help with nonprofessional therapy tasks, equipment setup and patient transport, and may assist with clerical duties and inventory.

The position offers flexible PRN shifts (8 hours) with weekend work, and LewisGale's comprehensive benefits within the HCA Healthcare network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• BCLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Preferred: Rehab Tech course completed.
• Preferred: Certified Rehab Tech.

Responsabilités

• Perform nonprofessional supportive therapy functions under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist.
• Assist in setup, cleaning, and maintenance of therapeutic equipment.
• Assist with patient transport, departmental clerical duties, and inventory maintenance.
• Perform other assigned tasks as needed.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Rehab Technician contributes to high quality, patient-centered care by performing nonprofessional supportive therapy functions, under the direct supervision of licensed therapist. The Rehab Technician assists in the setup, cleaning, and maintenance of therapeutic equipment. The Rehab Technician accepts other responsibilities as needed, including patient transport, departmental clerical duties, inventory maintenance, and other assigned tasks.

What qualifications you will need:

Required:

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Preferred:

Completion of Rehab Tech course

Certified Rehab Tech

Hours: PRN shifts will be 8 hour shifts that vary between 7:30am-4:30pm with one weekend per month required.
