Job summary

LewisGale Hospital Pulaski is seeking a Physical Therapist PRN to join our team in Pulaski, Virginia. The PT will manage the complete therapeutic care process for an assigned patient group, coordinating with physicians and the patient care team to implement individualized plans and drive goal achievement.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, current state licensure, BLS, and 1+ years of PT experience, including direct inpatient rehab.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy
• Currently licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state(s) of practice, in accordance with law and regulation.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• 1+ years experience in Physical Therapy
• 1+ years experience in direct inpatient rehab

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, patient-centered care by managing the complete process of therapeutic care for an assigned group of patients, in coordination with the physician and care team.
• Complete patient assessments and participate in developing and implementing individualized care plans.
• Provide or direct the majority of the patient’s physical therapy to support their continuum of care.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy

Licensed Physical Therapist in the state(s) of practice

BLS

1+ years experience in Physical Therapy

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Physical Therapist (PT) provides high quality, patient-centered care by managing the complete process of therapeutic care of an assigned group of patients, in coordination with the physician and the patient care team. The Physical Therapist completes patient assessments, and participates in developing and implementing individualized care plans, focusing on goal achievement, patient engagement, and positive patient experience. The Physical Therapist provides or directs a majority of the patient’s physical therapy to support patient’s throughout the continuum of care.

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy
• Currently licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state(s) of practice, in accordance with law and regulation.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• 1+ years experience in Physical Therapy
• 1+ years experience in direct inpatient rehab
