Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking a Lead Physical Therapist for the Homewood, IL area to oversee the outpatient physical therapy department. The role focuses on delivering clinically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services to restore function in musculoskeletal and related disorders while adhering to policy and regulatory standards.

The position requires a PT with licensure in the state, BCLS certification, 2 years of clinical experience, and preferred supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Masters/Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Current state Physical Therapy license.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• 2 years of clinical experience required.
• 1 year of supervisory/management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

The Lead Physical Therapist possesses the clinical, administrative and compliance knowledge to support the management of the physical therapy department. They provide medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services in order to restore function and prevent disability in patients with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary and/or integumentary disorders. The Lead Physical Therapist performs responsibilities in accordance with Physical Therapy/Hospital Policy, state and federal regulatory licensing and accrediting requirements.

1. Bachelor/ Masters/ Doctorate/Certificate degree in Physical Therapy.

2. Current state Physical Therapy license.

3. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
