Job summary

Brookside Care Center, a leading healthcare provider in Stockton, CA, is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our interdisciplinary team. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the recovery and well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, guiding exercises, monitoring progress, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Current California PTA license to practice.
• Willingness to learn and grow; new grads welcome.
• Ability to lift, transfer and position patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment plans.
• Conduct PT treatments: exercises, stretches, and modalities under supervision.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the team.
• Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare staff for care transitions.
• Maintain accurate records of treatments and progress.
• Participate in patient education and family training for independence and discharge.
