Therapy Solutions is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. You will implement selected components of treatment plans under the supervision of a physical therapist, focusing on mobility, pain relief, and functional improvement across long-term care and outpatient settings.

This role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift and assist clients, and strong communication with patients, families, and other professionals.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required from an accredited program.
• Must possess or be eligible for state licensure.
• Experience in long-term care or outpatient settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer treatment programs as established by physical therapists.
• Collaborate with a PT to implement individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain a positive, professional demeanor with clients and staff.
• Document patient information accurately in EMR systems.
• Evaluate progress and adjust treatments as needed.
• Administer exercises, manual therapy, or traction to relieve pain and improve strength.
• Instruct clients and families on home treatment procedures.
• Communicate with physicians and other professionals as needed.
