Job summary

Lakeland Village in Medical Lake, WA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide services to residents with complex medical and behavioral needs, including exercise programs, mobility training, and therapeutic activities.

You will support the Physical Therapist, train staff, oversee equipment needs, participate in IDT planning, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to ensure coordinated care. On-site work with daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program with patient treatment experience.
• Physical ability to safely move patients and operate equipment.
• Equivalent education or experience may be considered for all minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT services with exercise programs, mobility training, and therapeutic activities.
• Support PT with evaluations, updates, and documentation; assist with equipment needs assessments.
• Train staff on PT goals, safe transfer techniques, and equipment use.
• Facilitate wheelchair clinic; evaluate for wheelchairs/adaptive equipment; coordinate orders with vendors.
• Write progress notes and reports for IDT; participate in treatment planning conferences.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists for coordinated care.
• Maintain treatment areas and supplies; follow safety and infection control policies and attend trainings.
