Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant is required.
• One year of PTA experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and/or instruct patients in therapeutic exercises and gait training.
• Administer modalities such as whirlpool, heat/cold, US, paraffin, ES, TENS, CPM, traction and iontophoresis.
• Document and maintain treatment records per department policy.
• Collaborate with supervising Physical Therapist in planning patient care and discharge.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of treatment areas and equipment.
