Job summary

Careage Home Health in Washington is seeking a Full Time Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA) to join our team. This position covers the Rural South area including Kent, Auburn, Federal Way, Des Moines and Covington.

We offer a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 DOE, mileage reimbursement, and a competitive pay range of $36.50-$47.75 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• WA State PTA license required.
• Two years experience preferred.
• Certification by APTA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain physical therapy plans under supervision.
• Assist patients with PT exercises and mobility.
• Read and follow detailed instructions from PT and plan of care.
• Communicate effectively with patients and team.
• Demonstrate compassion, empathy and patient safety.
• Maintain attention to detail in all tasks.
• Apply knowledge of anatomy in therapy sessions.
• Know PT stretches and exercises.

A Licensed PTA administers physical therapy to patients intermittently in their place of residence. This is performed in accordance with physician orders and plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Physical Therapist (PT).
