Job summary

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital Springfield is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join the team in Springfield, MO. The role involves administering PTA interventions under supervision, aiding patient mobility and exercise, and ensuring accurate documentation in a fast-paced rehab setting.

PRN days, Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm, with a strong emphasis on patient safety and collaborative care. The ideal candidate holds an Associate's degree from a PTA program, current PTA license in

• Associate's degree from PTA program.
• Current PTA license in state of practice.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
• Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
• Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital Springfield is60-bed Rehabilitation Hospital. Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital provides inpatient rehabilitation services for patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries and other conditions. Our Unit is a very fast-paced yet fun environment with endless opportunities to learn and grow!

How You'll Contribute:
