St. Joseph Medical Center is looking for a per diem, day shift Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to be a part of our growing Rehab Team! Duties

Under the direction and supervision of the Physical Therapist, our new Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) duties include, but are not limited to:

  • provides medically prescribed therapeutic services in order to restore function and prevent disability in patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary and/or integumentary disorders
  • performs responsibilities in accordance with Physical Therapy, state and federal regulatory, licensing and accrediting requirements
  • treat patients through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions
  • we have an awesome team atmosphere!
  • AND, competitive compensation!
  • our shift needs are: 8:00-4:30pm, Saturday and Holiday rotation; weekdays as needed/available

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience:

  • Associates Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant
  • current state Physical Therapist Assistance license
  • current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
  • experience, preferred
