Greenville Post Acute – Greenville, SC is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for PRN scheduling. The PTA will work under a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver care that enhances mobility and quality of life for residents.

Qualified graduates with SC PTA license and CE requirements are preferred; familiarity with PCC and Casamba is a plus. PRN opportunities are available in a supportive rehab environment with growth potential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Active, unencumbered PTA license in South Carolina.
• Maintain CE and stay in good standing with the State Board.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred.
• Familiarity with PCC and Casamba preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Compassion for an underserved population.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Carry out treatment plans prescribed by the physician and therapist.
• Document daily treatments and weekly progress notes.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy programs and post-discharge care.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized therapy environment.

Position Summary

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide therapeutic care that improves residents’ mobility, independence, and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as directed by the Physical Therapist
• Carry out treatment plans prescribed by the physician and therapist
• Document daily treatments and weekly progress notes
• Assist with rehab and patient care conferences
• Monitor and report patient progress and changes
• Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy programs and post-discharge care
• Assist with training of Restorative Aides
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment
• Report equipment concerns and ensure proper maintenance

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program
• Active, unencumbered PTA license in South Carolina (required)
• Must maintain all continuing education and remain in good standing with the State Board
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred
• Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Compassion for an underserved population
