Job summary

GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for PRN/home health coverage in Castle Rock, CO. The PTA will work under the direction of a Physical Therapist to help patients restore function, reduce pain, and maintain performance in their homes.

The role requires travel between patient homes, strong communication, and the ability to work independently within a team. Prior geriatric home health experience is preferred and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Strong communication and observation skills.
• Experience working with geriatric patients preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Home health / community-based setting.
• Travel required between patient homes.
• Exposure to clinical environments and conditions.

Responsibilities

• Carry out therapy plans developed by the Physical Therapist
• Assist with treatments to improve mobility, strength, and function
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to PT and care team
• Educate patients and families on exercises and care plans
• Support use of equipment (wheelchairs, braces, etc.)
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team as needed
