Job summary

Preferred Therapy Solutions is seeking a Per-Diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department in Wallingford, CT. You will provide compassionate therapy services and collaborate with the rehab team to maximize patient independence.

Candidate must have a current PTA license or be eligible to practice in CT, with strong computer skills (Outlook/Word/Excel) and thorough documentation. Flexible hours and a supportive education department are available.

Qualifications

• Provide comprehensive therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility.

• Display valid PTA license or eligibility to practice in CT.

Overview

A Per-Diem Physical Therapy Assistant , (PTA), position is available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in Wallingford, CT. Once hired as part of the PTS team, you may join as many of our other local PRN rosters as you wish.

Job Requirements

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
• Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
• Possess a current Physical Therapy Assistant license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed
• Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
• Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
• Work well with others in a team setting
• Be flexible with hours.

Good Faith Rate Range: $30/hr - $35/hr
