Job summary

Symbria is seeking a Part-Time Physical Therapist Assistant to join the Rehab Team at Valley View Retirement Community in Belleville, PA. You will collaborate with the Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans, maintain documentation, and contribute to patient outcomes within a geriatric setting.

Flexibility to work 16–29 hours weekly across 2–5 days is expected; prior experience is helpful but not required. This employee-owned organization emphasizes supportive, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school for Physical Therapist Assistants.
• Valid state license.
• Ability to work 2–5 days per week (16–29 hours total).
• Experience in acute, long-term care, and/or rehabilitation is preferred but not required.

• Assist PT to establish goals and execute treatment plans.
• Maintain productivity and complete required documentation.
• Support patients to achieve outcomes and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

As a PART TIME Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will work closely with the Physical Therapist to establish appropriate goals and creatively execute the treatment plans. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be required to maintain productivity standards and complete required documentation. More importantly, you will help your patients achieve critical outcomes while acting as a trusted partner to the community you serve.

Qualifications

• Be a graduate of an accredited school for Physical Therapist Assistants.
• Hold a valid state license.
• Ability to work scheduled hours anywhere between 2-5 days per week (16 to 29 hours total - flexibility provided for part time schedule but some weekdays are required).
• It's great to have had acute care, long-term care and/or rehabilitation experience but not always required!
