Orange Tree Staffing is seeking a bright and talented Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide education-based therapy services to students in Orlando for the School Year.

Join a team that supports Allied Health Professionals through continuing education and collaboration, with a 37.5-hour work week, a start rate of $40/hour, and opportunities to contribute to student access and participation in educational activities within UCP Charter Schools.

• Assist the supervising Physical Therapist in carrying out student evaluations by collecting data and observations related to gross motor skills, mobility, balance, and physical functioning.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising PT to support student access and participation in educational activities.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve strength, endurance, coordination, posture, and safe movement within the school environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to help integrate physical therapy strategies into classroom routines and school activities.
• Document therapy sessions, student performance, and progress, sharing updates with the supervising PT.
• Support the PT in preparing reports and information needed for IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Monitor student progress during sessions and communicate observations to the supervising PT for potential plan adjustments.
• Participate in training and professional development to stay aligned with best practices in school-based physical therapy.
