Pure PT Physical Therapy in Lake Mary, FL is seeking a passionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing team. You will work with a supportive clinical team to help patients move better and feel better.

As a PTA, you will implement treatment plans under a licensed PT, assist with exercises and mobility, monitor patient progress, and educate patients and caregivers on home programs, all while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from PTA program.
• Active Florida PTA license or eligibility.
• CPR/BLS certification required or obtainable before start.
• Prefer previous outpatient orthopedic/rehabilitation experience.

Responsabilités

• Implement physical therapy treatment plans under PT supervision.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and functional mobility.
• Monitor and document patient progress and report to supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises and injury prevention.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment and equipment.
• Communicate with care team to ensure continuity of care.
• Uphold state regulations, clinic policies, and professional standards.

• Implement physical therapy treatment plans under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist


• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and functional mobility training


• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting updates to the supervising PT


• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention techniques


• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment and equipment


• Communicate effectively with the care team to ensure continuity and quality of patient care


• Uphold compliance with state regulations, clinic policies, and professional standards

Requirements:

• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program


• Active Florida PTA license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Florida


• CPR/BLS certification required or ability to obtain prior to start date


• Previous clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic or rehabilitation setting preferred


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach


• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment


• Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care
