Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in York, PA is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for full-time or part-time home health visits throughout York and Adams counties.

In this role you will assist adult and geriatric patients in attaining and maintaining physical well-being by providing treatment, education, and interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania PTA licensure
• Graduate from a two-year PTA program approved by the APTA
• One year PTA experience or qualifying proficiency exam if applicable
• At least one year of supervised work under a Physical Therapist

Responsibilities

• Perform home health PTA visits per plan of care
• Provide treatment, tests, education and interventions under PT supervision
• Collaborate with licensed Physical Therapist to adjust care plans

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant, PTA,

for a Full Time orPart-Time opportunity performing Home Health visits throughout York and Adams counties.

This office services adult and geriatric patients on a per visit basis in their private homes .

As a home care Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) you will assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well being by providing treatment, tests, client education and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.

Each Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) must:

• Have current licensure or certification in the state of Pennsylvania
• Have graduated from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, as indicated by school transcript or diploma, or
• Have one year of appropriate experience as an Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service when initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977
• Have at least one year’s work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.
• Other activities, as requested.

Additional Information:

Base Pay, depending upon qualifications and subject to negotiation:
$45.00 - $55.00 per point
