Empath Health Home Health is seeking a compassionate PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our Home Health team delivering personalized care to patients in Port Charlotte and surrounding South Florida counties. The role offers 5-10+ home visits per week, with potential for full-time hours.

You will provide PTA services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, assist in evaluating equipment needs, and educate patients and families to improve or maintain functioning at home.

Formación

• Active Florida PTA license.
• Minimum 1 year experience as PTA.
• Home health care experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide physical therapy services to patients in home health following the plan of care under supervision of a PT.
• Assist evaluating equipment needs to increase patient function.
• Educate patient and family on self-care and function maintenance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for holistic care.
