Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at BAYADA Home Health Care

Position Type: Full-time or Part-time

Location: Charlotte Visits Office, Mecklenburg County, North of Uptown

Overview: As a home care Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well-being by providing treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform home health visits for adult and geriatric patients throughout Mecklenburg County.
2. Assist clients with their physical therapy needs, following treatment plans.
3. Maintain documentation and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.

Qualifications:

• Current licensure or certification in North Carolina.
• Graduated from a two-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, or have two years of appropriate experience and a satisfactory proficiency exam if qualified before December 31, 1977.
• At least one year's work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.
