Role Summary

As a PTA, you will administer physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, managing a caseload of 5-6 visits daily. You will treat patients with diverse conditions, including post-op orthopedics, neuro rehab, and cardiac issues, primarily in the East Valley (Pinal County, Arizona City, Eloy, Casa Grande, Coolidge, Maricopa, Chandler, Ahwatukee, Florence). Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and modify care as needed in collaboration with the supervising PT.
• Document patient care accurately and timely, reflecting assessments and treatment outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Supervise and delegate tasks appropriately, participate in training, and ensure team competency.
• Participate in departmental activities, meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program or equivalent.
• Current PTA license in Arizona (if required).
• BLS certification.
• Experience or training relevant to patient care equipment and modalities.
• Possession of an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (if applicable).

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as a Therapy Assistant for Banner Registry and Travel positions.
