BAYADA Home Health Care in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a part-time or per diem role providing home health visits. You will serve adult and geriatric patients in Mecklenburg County under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

The position requires NC PTA licensure or certification and relevant practice history. BAYADA offers comprehensive benefits and PPE, with opportunities for training and career advancement.

Qualifications

• Licensed or certified PTA in North Carolina
• Graduate of a two-year American Physical Therapy Association-approved program (as indicated by transcript or diploma)
• At least one year of PTA experience and/or supervision under a PT; proficiency exam as applicable

Responsabilités

• Provide treatment, tests, client education and interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist clients in attaining or maintaining physical well-being during home health visits in Mecklenburg County.

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant, PTA, for a part-time or per diem opportunity performing home health visits for our Charlotte Visits office.

This office services adult and geriatric patients on a per visit basis in territories throughout Mecklenburg County.

As a home care Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) you will assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well being by providing treatment, tests, client education and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.

Each Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) must:

• Have current licensure or certification in the state of North Carolina
• Have graduated from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, as indicated by school transcript or diploma, or
• Have one year of appropriate experience as an Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service when initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977
• Have at least one year’s work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.
• Other activities, as requested.

Additional Information:

Base Pay, depending upon qualifications:

$42-48 per point
