Huntington Hills Center for Health & Rehab in Melville, NY is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join a busy sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab team. You’ll work with interdisciplinary staff to deliver high-quality therapy and improve resident outcomes in a 5 Star SNF setting.

The ideal candidate will hold a PTA license or be eligible to practice in New York, demonstrate strong documentation skills, and collaborate closely with therapists and nursing colleagues.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license or license eligible in NY.
• Experience in sub-acute / skilled nursing rehab setting preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office and EMR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate PTA services in a sub-acute facility.
• Collaborate with rehab and nursing staff as part of a team.
• Assist in achieving optimal resident outcomes and timely documentation.
• Engage in interdisciplinary planning to support patient independence.

Overall, we are a very busy short term rehab and long term care units and you will be treating a blend of both patient populations.
