Job summary

Mills Pond Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in New York is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant to join a compassionate geriatric team in a busy skilled nursing facility.

You must hold a NYS license for Physical Therapy Assistant and be able to evaluate and treat residents independently, with passion for improving mobility and quality of life.

Wages are up to $35/hour depending on experience and shift; both full-time and per diem positions are available, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold NYS license for Physical Therapy Assistant.
• SNF/Geriatric experience preferred.
• Ability to evaluate and treat residents independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PT with therapies to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Help prevent permanent disability and promote overall fitness in residents.
• Provide independent evaluation and treatment within a skilled nursing setting.

Looking for a full time talented and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of practice, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.
