Job summary

Mills Pond Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our skilled nursing team in Saint James, NY. You will assist the physical therapist with therapies to improve mobility and reduce pain, while promoting overall wellness for our geriatric residents.

The ideal candidate holds a NYS PTA license, has the ability to work independently with residents, and is passionate about geriatric care.

Qualifications

• Must hold NYS license for Physical Therapy Assistant.
• SNF experience preferred but not required.
• Able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision.
• Passion for geriatric population and functional activities.

Looking for a full time talented and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of practice, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.

Full Time and Per Diem Positions Available

Wages

Up to $35/hour (Based on Experience and Shift)
