CommuniCare Rehab is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) at Hillcrest Healthcare Center to make a direct impact on residents through therapy.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid or pending State Physical Therapy Assistant License.

Responsibilities

• Verifies client information by interviewing client, reviewing and/or recording medical history, confirming purpose of treatment.
• Helps clients improve their quality of life by helping them compensate for limitations and re-enter the labor force, and teaching independence to use public transportation and increase mobility.
• Implements treatment plan through direct treatment and collaboration with Physical Therapist, educating other team members and family.
• Opportunity to work at multiple centers to serve a wide variety of patient needs.

CommuniCare Rehab, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies has a Full Time opening for a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) at Hillcrest Healthcare Center, where our therapists are In-House Team Members.

• Helps clients improve their quality of life by helping them compensate for limitations, such as helping injured workers improve their motor skills and re-enter the labor force, and teaching persons with learning disabilities live with increased independence to use public transportation and increase their mobility independence.
• Implements treatment plan through direct treatment and collaboration with Physical Therapist, education of other members of team involved in the treatment plan and family members.
