Job summary

Powerback is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in‑facility rehab team in Round Rock, Texas. You will implement prescribed PT programs, follow recovery plans, and deliver therapy to patients across settings, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.

As a PTA, you will be guided by the Director of Rehab, providing compassionate care while restoring, reinforcing, and enhancing patients’ physical abilities in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy programs and activities as prescribed.
• Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
• Collaborate with rehab team and refer to other care as needed.
• Place patients first and maintain compassionate, high‑quality service.

Education

Graduate of a PTA program accredited by APTA

Licensed or eligible for licensure in practice state

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you help patients get well. You are the person who can bring their power back. In doing this, you will implement physical therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.

You're equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. You know your goal is to execute a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities.

You're adaptable to the needs of the patient and can find joy in the variety of the work and the settings.
