Job summary

Powerback is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support patients in facility-based rehabilitation, implementing prescribed physical therapy programs and activities, following recovery plans, and delivering therapy treatments.

You will be a dedicated team member reporting to the Director of Rehab, focused on restoring patients' abilities and providing compassionate care in a collaborative setting across skilled nursing, outpatient, and home-based care environments.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy programs and activities per developed recovery plans.
• Deliver therapy treatments to patients.
• Collaborate with the rehab team and refer when needed to ensure patient care.
• Restore, reinforce, and enhance patients' physical abilities.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and support to patients and families.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you help patients get well. You are the person who can bring their power back. In doing this, you will implement physical therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.

You're a healer and a helper, which is why you got into this line of work.

You're equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. You know your goal is to execute a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities.

You're adaptable to the needs of the patient and can find joy in the variety of the work and the settings.

You're a teammate and are looking for collaboration with your peers, but you're also happy to make referrals to help your patient get the care they need to thrive.
