Job summary

Powerback Rehab has a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) opportunity at the Genesis Healthcare Rio Rancho Center. We offer opportunities for growth, collaboration with Genesis, and a patient-centered approach in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities include implementing physical therapy programs, following recovery plans, and delivering treatments to patients. Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state is required. Location is in facility, reporting to the Director of Rehab.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.
• Collaborate with the care team to support patient independence.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a facility setting.
• Work with rehabilitation director and peers to optimize patient outcomes.
