Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation to You is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a PRN position in an in-facility setting. You will implement physical therapy programs, follow recovery plans, and deliver treatments to help patients regain function and independence.

You will work with a collaborative team, focusing on patient-centered care and compassionate service. The role offers opportunities to grow within a supportive environment and may involve referrals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited PTA program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the practicing state.

Responsibilities

  • Implement physical therapy programs and activities, follow recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.
  • Address the whole patient and design a program to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence.
  • Collaborate with peers and make referrals to ensure the patient receives needed care.
  • Provide patient-centered care in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.

Education

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you help patients get well. You are the person who can bring their power back. In doing this, you will implement physical therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.

You're a healer and a helper, which is why you got into this line of work.

You're equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. You know your goal is the design of a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities and independence.

You're adaptable to the needs of the patient and can find joy in the variety of the work and the settings.

You're a teammate and are looking for collaboration with your peers, but you're also happy to make referrals to help your patient get the care they need to thrive.

  1. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
  2. Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.
Posted Salary Range

USD $38.00 - USD $40.00 /Hr.
