Frontline Personnel is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a position located in Staten Island, NY. You will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist in a Long-Term Care rehab facility.

The role requires a current PTA license in the state. Experience is preferred; new grads are welcome. Eligible for benefits and competitive hourly pay between $45 and $55 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current PTA license by the State.
• Experience preferred, but new grads considered.

Responsibilities

• Carry out patient-related activities and therapeutic interventions.
• Provide services to maximize independence and health for individuals affected by physical injury or illness, cognitive impairment, psychosocial dysfunction, mental illness, developmental/learning disability, or adverse environments.

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Qualifications:

• A Current Physical Therapist Assistant(PTA)license by the State is REQUIRED.

• Experience is preferred, however we are accepting new grads.

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Responsibilities:

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at Frontline Personnel, under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will perform a variety of tasks in a Long-Term Care rehab, Skilled Nursing Facility for elderly patients including:

• Carry out patient-related activities and therapeutic interventions.

• Provide services to help maximize independence and maintain health for individuals limited by:

  • Physical injury or illness

  • Cognitive impairment

  • Psychosocial dysfunction

  • Mental illness

  • Developmental or learning disability

  • Adverse environmental conditions
